How to Request a Speaker

Submit a Request Form

Complete the "Speaker Request Form" available on the NMIA website or by contacting the Public Relations Office. Include details such as:

  • Event title and purpose.
  • Requested date, time, and location.
  • Preferred topic(s) or speaker(s).
  • Target audience and expected attendance.

Review and Confirmation

The NMIA Public Relations & Communications Committee will review your request and match it with the most suitable speaker.

Approval and Coordination

Once approved, NMIA will confirm availability, discuss logistics, and coordinate travel or virtual arrangements.

Engagement Delivery

Your selected NMIA representative will deliver the presentation, workshop, or keynote at the agreed date.

Follow-Up

After the event, NMIA will request a short feedback or testimonial to strengthen future partnerships.


Expectations and Guidelines

🏛️ Host Organization Responsibilities

  • Provide event information at least 30 days in advance.
  • Cover local transportation, accommodation, or speaking honorarium, if applicable.
  • Ensure logistical support (venue, equipment, and publicity).
  • Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and nonpartisan platform.

🤝 NMIA Responsibilities

  • Assign speakers based on expertise and relevance.
  • Prepare presentations tailored to audience needs.
  • Uphold NMIA's values and integrity in all engagements.
  • Provide confirmation and support materials (biography, photos, etc.).
